So, I want to do some extended traveling sometime here in the near future.  However, I have some work I need to keep up with, so I pretty much need to take a computer with me.  I don’t want to take anything to expensive, though, because it will be at risk while I travel.

I’ve been checking out some cheap used laptops, and I think I’ve found some that will work well.  I think I’ll go for one the IBM Thinkpads, since they are very, very sturdy, and will probably hold up to anything I can throw at them.  We’ll see what kind I wind up with though.
