Usually individual retirement accounts carry fees. Sometimes, the fees are low and sometimes they are more depending on the financial institution that sets the fee. Although, it is interesting to open an individual retirement account at various financial institution, you will rack up a lot of fees that way.
The pro of opening an individual retirement account at each of the financial institution is that you will learn which one is the best and the safest for your money.
Different companies have different recommendations and some are better than others. However, fees -wise, it is not a good practice to do so.
