I am really not very picky about the condition of my books. As long as they are entire without any pages missing and readable, they are fine with me. My big problem is that I read so much I really can’t afford to buy brand new books all the time. I am looking for a good source for a particular second hand book that I am after, Fly Fishing by JR Hartley. Does anyone know of a good online book shop for this? I am thinking that I might have more options with an online book store, but that it might be easier to find a bricks and mortar store that has second hand books.

This book has a really interesting story attached to it - it first came to public attention in the UK thanks to a superb advert by BT’s Yellow Pages starring the fictitious author J R Hartley trying to find a copy of his even more fictitious out of print book called Fly Fishing. The advert was so successful that BT, Yellow Pages and book shops everywhere started getting calls asking where they could buy the book - realising a great opportunity here, BT found a publisher, had the book created from scratch and promptly created a best seller!
