Woodworking Projects that Kids Will Like
Today it doesn’t really cross our minds that our kids work very little with raw materials like wood. They do their building on the computer, never getting to smell the burning wood from a saw, or getting wood glue on their hands while making woodworking projects for kids. It really is a shame that even though kids today in many ways seem smarter than us, they don’t often use those skills in a hands-on environment. I would love for my son to make me a wooden boat or a box that he built himself. I know computers are an important part of our children’s lives, but let’s encourage woodworking projects for kids. The experience would serve them well.
