When my husband and I built our house, the first thing we agreed we wanted was a patio, for outdoor dining.

Since we live in south Florida, we can eat dinner outdoors almost year round, so our screened-in porch soon became our second dining room.

We hung PVC Patio Blinds, bought an all-weather table and chairs, and added plants.

None of it was cost very much, but dining outside on a warm, tropical evening is priceless.

Over the years it has become a tradition to gather on the patio after dinner, for dessert, conversation, and a breathtaking view of the sun setting behind palm trees.
