Moonlit Bedrooms Are Romantic and Soothing
A room of the home that is likely one of the last considered for a skylight is the master bedroom. Skylights are usually more popular in the bathroom, the kitchen, and sometimes the living room - in that order. However, don’t dismiss the lighting and decorating possibilities that dome skylights present for modern bedrooms. While the primary purpose of skylights is to allow natural sunlight in during the day, they could also invite romantic moonlight in at night. Just be sure you’re considering clear rather than frosted glass for the best chance of letting in this softer, subtler light. While some people prefer to sleep in complete darkness, others may be soothed by the gentle, natural light of night.
