How long does it take to learn Japanese words?
How long does it take to learn Japanese words? I know it probably depends on the person who is learning and how much enthusiasm they have toward learning the language. I am planning a trip to Japan soon, and I cannot speak a word of Japanese, which will make it hard to carry on a conversation with a native of Japan or ask for directions. I would like to learn the basics so I will be able to carry on a simple conversation. I’m just worried that I will not be able to learn enough in time for the trip.
