The quest for hydrogen fuel has been a long and slow progression. We have known about hydrogen as a fuel for a hundred years but we need the manufacturing and infrastructure to be in place before it can really be a successful alternative to gas from oil. It takes time to make such big changes and it will only work if the automakers like General Motors and BMW push for it.

If the government are prepared to put in the resources and support the change needed and the public are convinced of the need for a hydrogen economy mankind can save the planet and the human race. Hydrogen fuel is the best answer we have as an alternative to stopping using the combustion engine altogether which would be devastating to our lifestyles.
