Once you have gone through the schooling to become a medical coder and you have acquired your medical coding certificate, then what do you do next? you need to start looking for a job by going to your local personnel services. It’s good to go to one of these facilities because they will be able to test you and get you into a position that you will be able to do. Unfortunately, with medical coding jobs, most of them want you to have some sort of experience but if you get lucky enough to have a job offer, then you can start your long and rewarding career as a medical coder.
