Bad Hires and Hiring Solutions
Hiring decisions that result in bad employees or bad situations waste an organization’s time, training resources, and mental energy. There are many hiring mistakes to avoid during your recruiting and hiring process. One of the most critical is not doing enough research on the candidate and along with that, not fleshing out the hiring solutions that are necessary to move forward. This is not only to ensure that the employee is a good fit for the company, but also to see if the company is a good fit for the employee because if either scenario doesn’t work out, the company is the one that is going to be losing out, on profits.
