A Recession in South Africa Not Likely

It appears that South Africa, among many other countries, is headed for a full blown recession. Economic indicators that include employment rates, consumer spending, inflation and interest rates point to the likelihood of a recession. However, many South African experts speculate that there will, in fact, be no such recession. They site the growth in the housing market, increased homeloans, heavy private and public sector investment as very positive. Strong consumer spending continues in the public sector despite world wide fears of a slowdown. Now is actually a good time to consider investing in South Africa, maybe even buying property or a house.
