There are a few ways to sell unwanted cherished number plates. Firstly if they are still on the car, ask for a little more for the car to cover the registration number, the new owner can then keep them or sell them at leasure. Second method is that well known internet auction site, this fast but most buyers are after a bargain so don’t expect the full value. Last is to sell through a dealer on a commission sale basis. this last method should result in the maximum return although it could be the lengthiest way to sell the number plates.
