A great way to read the classics: audiobooks

Have you read the classics? Unless you have a doctorate in literature, there are probably many classic books you’ve never read. This can be anything from Homer to Shakespeare to Tolstoy. One way for busy modern people to catch up on the gaps in the literary education is to listen to them. Contrary to some opinions, audiobooks are a perfectly valid way to experience a book. Just make sure they are unabridged and read by a good narrator. Once you get into the habit, you can acquire the equivalent of a graduate degree’s worth of reading in a year or so! And they are also fun to listen to and make the time go by a lot faster when driving or doing something that might otherwise be tedious.
