Junior apparel definitions
These are the days when an Anna Kournikova or Venus Williams comes to the turf in designer women’s tennis apparel. In 1987-88 there was a downturn in the women’s apparel market because the fashions grew dramatically younger as the demographics of the consumer grew older. Although consumers are dressing more casually, they are still seeking a broader selection of apparel and unique, exclusive merchandise. The flight of the junior apparel industry has led to a huge rise in apparel imports to the United States and to a decline in employment. As far as clothing is concerned, women are very choosy and it is applicable even for a corporate women’s apparel.
